Emerson Solenoid Valve Body

The 066196 is a 2-Way pilot operated refrigeration solenoid valve body with mounting stud. The valve is normally closed and has 7/8" sweat connections. The pilot operation happens when the plunger opens a pilot port and the pressure on top of the piston is released through the port creating a pressure imbalance. The pressure difference pushes the piston upward and opens the port. When the plunger drops it closes the port equalizing the pressure.
