The EWC Controls ND-RSD-8X30 is a motorized Ultra-Zone Damper for controlling airflow in ducts. This is a parallel-type damper that has a dimension of 8" Height x 30" Width.
The unit operation is normally closed with a motor power rating of 24V and is driven by 3" lbs. of torque. The motor is mounted on the 30" dimension.
The ND Series Ultra-Zone Dampers are made to be reliable, cost-effective, and provide convenience. The series uses nylon bushings which eliminates noisy operation. They are good in quality with a durable frame that can be easily installed and checkout.
Some dampers are controlled manually but for the ND Series, a motor controls the damper. The motor is driven by 18" lbs. of torque (for ND-RSD Model 3" lbs. of torque). The quick connect terminal block provides an easy and accessible wiring connection.
Using the ND Series Damper to your Ultra-Zone zoning system will give you comfort and let you personalized the temperature in each zone. Like, you can allow more heat or cool temperature in certain areas or closed the damper to block cool or heat air. All ND Series has a satisfactory leakproof rating of 97%.
