The Johnson Controls V46AB-1 is a 2-way, cast brass, pressure-actuated water regulating valve with a 1/2” NPT connection.  It operates within a pressure range of 70 to 260 psi and comes equipped with a 30" capillary tube and 1/4" flare nut (Style 45) pressure elements.

This direct-acting valve opens as pressure increases, regulating the flow of water or glycol to a water-cooled condenser in a refrigeration system.  It is designed for a maximum water pressure of 150 psi and can withstand a maximum water temperature of 170°F (77°C).

The V46AB-1 is a direct replacement for the V46AB-17 and V46AB-22 models.  This commercial-grade valve is ideal for head pressure control in systems using non-corrosive refrigerants.
