The Honeywell Resideo 50063805-001 is a replacement heat recovery core for Model VNT5070H1000 Ventilator.  It is made of polypropylene material and has a dimension of 10”x10”x9” (254x254x228.6 mm).

The Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) is a component of a ventilation system designed specifically to exchange only sensible heat between air streams. The HRV can efficiently eliminate moisture from indoor environments by expelling damp air and introducing dry outdoor air in its place.  When outdoor temperatures surpass indoor temperatures, the sensible heat exchange cools incoming air indoors. Conversely, when outdoor temperatures are cooler than indoors, this exchange warms incoming air within the home.

For greater efficiency performance, the HRV should be cleaned annually using a vacuum, warm water, and mild soap.  The core is accessible through the front and can be easily detached from the ventilator unit. 

Note: Installing HRVs without protection in environments prone to high moisture freezing is not advisable.
